Suffragan Bishop Julian Johnson, M.A.C.M

An anointed preacher, teacher, and soul winner. He is the youngest born to the late Dr. John L. Johnson and Sister Artimese L. Johnson.

He was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost at a young age in St. Louis, MO. In 1988
his family joined Bethesda Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri under the
leadership of the late honorable Bishop James A. Johnson.

In 1998 he graduated from Hampton University in Hampton, VA with a Bachelor of Science Degree inAccounting and in 2021 graduated from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO with a Master ofArts in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling. In July 1998 he married SisterMelanie Sims. They are the proud parents of two sons, Joseph and Jonathan. While in Hampton he was amember of Christ Church Apostolic under Bishop Robert A. Baker, Sr. where he served in several roles.

Upon returning to St. Louis, he was elevated to the position of Assistant Pastor by Bishop James A.
Johnson on March 8, 2010 and elevated again as Associate Pastor on October 30, 2013. After the demise
of his beloved pastor in May, 2015, he was elected by the congregation to serve in conjunction with the
Chairman of the Deacon Board, to lead the congregation until a new pastor was selected. On February 1,
2017 the Bethesda Temple Church members in good standing voted then Elder Julian Johnson as its new
pastor.

He has traveled both nationally and internationally doing missions work and evangelism crusades in
South America, Africa, Israel and the West Indies where hundreds of souls have been baptized and filled
with the Holy Ghost. As a result of his work in International Missions, in January, 2019 he was elevated
to the office of District Elder within the Puerto Rico District Council under Bishop Gregory Irving and
then further elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop in the Liberia, W. Africa Council under Bishop
Leo Simpson where he and his congregation have reopened the Samuel Grimes School in Kakata, Liberia,
W. Africa.

In his professional life Suffragan Bishop Johnson has been employed with a number of corporations as a
Sr. Accountant and Financial Analyst for over 20 years prior to going full time in ministry. He’s also the
author of one book, “The Garden of Eden.”
He is a licensed and ordained minister in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (P.A.W.), and
serves as the First Vice Chairman for the Midwestern District Council. He also sits on the Board of
Directors for the International Missions Departments of the P.A.W., has served as the Director of
Outreach and Evangelism for the P.A.W. and teaches at Aenon Bible College.
